A different type of cinema

With the rise of so many comic marvel type movies these days which increasingly go beyond suspending disbelief, here at Thurso Cinema Club we feel there is a market to slowdown slightly and showcase a once-a-month film rooted in a documentary format. This will make for stimulating viewing – and a chance to discuss afterwards among fellow club goers.

Collated on your behalf from all around the world for the benefit of our far north community, films with be advertised here and socials. Tickets will be used to “private hire our Thurso cinema” and you will automatically be issued a refund in the unfortunate situation of not enough tickets being sold to make a documentary viable for that months showing.

Mini-bus service can be arranged for elderly.

Showings take place the last Wednesday of the month.

Films will not be shown too late but start after work-times.

Votes on socials will be held for next months showing.
